Operator partners wanted.
AUM grows through partners who open communities and bring them funding. If you know municipal deals or farm and land deals, we'd like to hear from you.
Across the South, land is passing from an older generation to a younger one that mostly lives in cities. Too often it is sold off, split among heirs or lost, not because the family wanted that, but because no one had a plan.
Role 1
Community Operator Partner
You open and run AUM communities: the site, the residents, the local relationships and day-to-day operations.
What you'd do
- Lead a site from approval to a living community
- Build relationships with parishes, towns, councils and local partners
- Work with landowner partners on their roadmaps
- Look after residents and the shared spaces
Municipal deals
Towns, parishes and councils: land use, infrastructure and community partnerships.
Farm and land-based deals
Family estates, farms and family land: plans that keep land in families.
We're looking for: Local credibility, operations or development experience, and a network in Louisiana or the wider South.
Our sites are treated as one community
Because all AUM sites are marketed together, the law treats them as one development. We keep the number of homesites we offer at any one time to 99 or fewer, 48 in today's plans, and we follow federal land-sale rules on every sale.

Role 2
Funding Operator Partner
You bring and structure the funding behind AUM's sites and landowner partnerships.
What you'd do
- Find and shape funding for sites, homes and shared infrastructure
- Work with lenders, grant makers and community development funds
- Structure funding so it fits AUM's legal design
- Keep funders informed and deals on track
Municipal finance
Grants, public-private partnerships, USDA programs and community development funding.
Farm and land finance
Community lenders, farm lenders and land-based project finance.
We're looking for: A record of closed deals, lender and funder relationships, and care with compliance.
How funding partners are paid
Funding partners are paid for their work and their share in AUM's success, not a commission on money raised from investors, unless they hold the license that allows it.
